A Call to Prayer and Commitment

To the members of Living Hope, many of us—if not all of us—have been going through. For most of our lives, we’ve heard the phrase, “time is winding down.” After hearing it for so long, it’s easy to begin wondering if it really is. But this is not the season to question—it’s the season to observe.
If we simply look beyond our own back doors, we can see it happening. Some things are unfolding on a large and serious scale, while others appear as many small but persistent challenges. This is not the time to become distracted by unimportant “stuff.” If you haven’t noticed, the enemy has increased his attacks on God’s people—especially Living Hope.
The Word reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 (NIV):“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
The phrase that stands out to me most is “pray continually.” As I watch events unfold and see how relentless the enemy has become, it’s clear that it’s time for us to get real serious about our commitment to God and to His church—and that includes me as well.
Yes, life brings distractions, disappointments, and hardships, but God never promised ease or comfort. What He has promised is faithfulness—and He has been faithful to each of us. If we’re honest with ourselves, some of what we experience comes from our own choices.
The enemy is doubling his efforts, and it’s time for us to double ours. I am personally taking a step back to make sure I am where I need to be in God. Living Hope is under attack, and I am truly concerned—but I also know what I need to do. It’s time to stop procrastinating and take action. I am recommitting myself to God. I am upping my game.
I’m sharing this because we need to be praying now and praying continually, especially for those within our membership who are facing heavy attacks. Please know that I truly love each of you with the love of God ❤️
Stay encouraged,
Your Sistah
