Meditation – Matthew 5:16

Doing nothing may feel easy, but it can be dangerous. When we remain silent or inactive, evil can spread quickly. God did not call us to complain from the sidelines—He works through us to bring justice, hope, and light into the world.

Jesus reminds us to let our light shine. That means choosing action over apathy and good over indifference. We are called to do good in His name, even when it’s uncomfortable or inconvenient. The world needs believers who are willing to stand up, step forward, and be a force for good.

Let us be inspired by God’s love and strengthened by His courage to make a difference wherever He has placed us.

Prayer

Lord, help us to resist evil and boldly do good works in Your name. Give us the strength to never hesitate, but to work faithfully and consistently for Your glory. Thank You for creating us to do good and for keeping Your light shining within us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
